The three-day gathering was hosted by Ontario Nature, Plenty Canada, Walpole Island Land Trust and the Indigenous Environmental Studies and Sciences program at Trent University from May 28 to 30 2018.
Transforming Conservation: Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas in Ontario, is a report that reflects stories, insights and knowledge shared about Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) during a three-day gathering. The objective of the gathering was to help inform future dialogue on next steps for IPCAs in Ontario.
