Ontario Nature’s 87th Annual Gathering
Ontario Nature hosted our 87th Annual Gathering on the shores of beautiful Prince Edward County. A designated Important Birding and Biodiversity Area (IBA), Prince Edward County is rich with unique natural features and is home to a great diversity of habitats. In addition to exploring these local ecological treasures the weekend also featured:
- Inspiring speakers;
- Hands-on, expert-led nature workshops;
- Conservation Awards to recognize achievements of conservation heroes; and
- Guided field trips to surrounding natural areas.
When: June 1 – 3, 2018
Where: Isaiah Tubbs Resort & Conference Centre, Prince Edward County
Nature workshops ran twice on Saturday, June 2nd, with the opportunity to participate in two workshops. The morning session ran from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. and the afternoon session ran from 1:15 to 3:00 p.m.
Field trips ran on Sunday, June 3rd from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Participants were picked up and dropped off at Isaiah Tubbs Resort.
Two keynote presentations on Saturday—one in the morning and one in the evening.

Q: Do I need to contact Isaiah Tubbs Resort to book accommodations, or will Ontario Nature do this on my behalf?
A: Ontario Nature has booked all of the accommodations at Isaiah Tubbs Resort. If you have registered for one of our accommodation packages, Ontario Nature will assign you to a room(s), depending on what you have chosen for your accommodation.
Q: Are only Ontario Nature members welcome to attend the Annual General Meeting on Saturday, June 2nd at 3:30 p.m.?
A: Both Ontario Nature members and non-members are welcome to join this meeting, however only Ontario Nature members are allowed to vote at the meeting.
