Planting Event at Sydenham River Nature Reserve
Join Ontario Nature’s expert biologists to learn about agricultural restoration at the Sydenham River Nature Reserve! Volunteers will assist in native tree and shrub planting.
You can join us for the morning, afternoon, or all day! We are planting trees and bushes to transform fields into what will one day grow to Carolinian forest habitat.
BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SCHEDULES
Morning Session
9:30-10:00am – Registration and Introduction
10:00-12:00pm Planting
12:00-1:00pm Snacks and Beverages
Afternoon Session
12:30-1pm Registration and Introduction
1:00-3:00pm Planting
3:30-4:00pm Snacks and Beverages
When registering please select a ticket for EITHER Saturday Morning and/or Afternoon OR Sunday morning and/or afternoon. There is no need to print your ticket, we will have an attendee list when you come to register.
Food and drink: Please bring your own refillable water bottle. Light snacks and water will be provided by Ontario Nature.
Rain Date: Please note that if thunderstorms are in the forecast for Saturday, September 20th, the event will be postponed to only take place on Sunday, September 21st.
Directions: Our Sydenham River Nature Reserve is located approximately 60km southwest of London in the Lake Erie Lowlands region.

Parking instructions: Don’t drive all the way at the bottom of Buttonwood drive. Park along the right OR left side of the road.
