Testimonial

Giving donations of securities has important tax benefits.

When you give securities, you get more of a tax break, and the charity gets a larger donation! There are variables to consider, including capital gains, and how to maximize your benefits will depend on your particular situation. It’s a great idea to talk to your financial advisor about what works best for you.

I personally give securities because I enjoy the satisfaction of seeing my donations go to work right away. And I know that, for Ontario Nature, they can put my gift to use immediately, funding the most urgent priorities for nature.
