You can leave a legacy for nature, forever. Many of the properties in our nature reserve system were gifts from people who wanted to donate a special piece of nature or leave a gift in their Will to acquire a nature reserve property.

We are Growing!
Ontario Nature aims to acquire new properties to strategically expand our nature reserve system and protect some of Ontario’s most ecologically significant areas forever. Learn about ways to conserve land.
Our nature reserves were either purchased by us or donated by people who love nature. They are all cared for by people who value nature and owned forever by members of Ontario Nature.
Your support will protect species at risk, rare ecosystems and imperilled habitats.

You Can Help
- Donate to a land acquisition campaign.
- Make a gift in your Will to acquire new properties or support work to enhance the ecological integrity of existing nature reserves.
- Learn about ways to conserve land.
- Participate in hands-on projects to restore habitats, protect at-risk species or collect data by attending our events or volunteering as a property steward.
- Become an Ontario Nature member and support efforts to care for nature.
