Wetlands and Wildfire with author Edward Struzik

May 16 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Edward Struzik, a fellow at the Institute for Energy and Environmental Policy at Queen’s University, has been writing about scientific and environmental issues for more than 30 years.  Two of his most recent books are “Swamplands: Tundra Beavers, Quaking Bogs, and the Improbable World of Peat” and “Dark Days at Noon: The Future of Wildfire“.  In his presentation, Struzik will show how the two topics of wetlands and wildfire are connected.
This is your invitation to join the Midland-Penetanguishene Field Naturalists at our monthly meeting at the Wye Marsh.  Non-members are asked for a donation of $5.00 to attend.
