Pollinators, their importance, and how we can help support them

February 10, 2026 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Nearly 90% of flowering plants and 75% of food crops rely on pollinators, making them vital to ecosystems and agriculture.  Beyond the well-known honeybee, native pollinators like bees, butterflies, and moths also play key roles but face major threats. In this presentation, Jordan Phelps from Pollinator Partnership Canada will discuss their importance, challenges, and how we can help protect them.
