OLTA’s Annual Gathering
It’s official – the 2026 Gathering will be October 26th – 28th!
This year’s Gathering will be held at Horseshoe Valley Resort in Barrie, on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe and Huron-Wendat peoples, in the area of the Williams Treaties and Lake Simcoe Treaty 16.
The address is 1101 Horseshoe Valley Road West, Barrie, L4M 4Y8.
We are in the early stages of planning and further information on the schedule, sessions, registration, and more will follow in the coming months.
For now, please mark the dates in your calendar as we’d love to see all of you there!
We are looking for committee members to help with session development and coordination! Committee members would attend one or two meetings per month in the leadup to the Gathering, as well as contact, confirm, and coordinate with speakers for the sessions they are coordinating. If you are interested in participating on the committee or have questions, please reach out to Erinn at erinn.todd@olta.ca by March 27th.
To submit your public events for consideration, email Noah Cole at noahc@ontarionature.org. Please send well in advance and allow up to two weeks for posting. Events must be submitted by a member group or run jointly with Ontario Nature.
