Migratory Bird Walk in Bowmanville

October 23 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am
Ruby-crowned kinglet, bird

Join us for an early morning bird walk in Bowmanville! Start your day alongside Ontario Nature staff who will lead a guided birding hike along 2.5km of accessible trail at Soper Creek Park. During the event, we will introduce the basics of birding, share bird identification tips and highlight community science projects you can participate in to support bird conservation in Ontario. It is also a great way to meet fellow nature lovers and spend time outdoors. The event will be happening rain or shine – so don’t forget to dress for the weather! Identification resources and snacks will be provided. Registration is required.

Washroom: There are seasonal portable washrooms available at Soper Creek Park.

Location: We will meet at next to Soper Creek Trail, to the left of the parking lot near the baseball diamond. From Simpson Avenue, turn onto Soper Creek Laneway and follow it all the way to a large parking lot at the end, near the baseball diamond.

This event was made possible thanks to funding from TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.

By participating in the event, you agree to abide by the Event Code of Conduct.
