About
The Nature Network is organized into seven regions across the province. Groups from each region elect a Regional Councilor, each of whom is well connected with their local nature community and are members at least one Nature Network group. The Regional Council meets virtually four times annually and regularly communicates with Ontario Nature’s Nature Network Organizer and groups in their region to help guide activities and resources.
The Regional Council elects some of their members to serve as Nature Network Directors on Ontario Nature’s Board of Directors. The directors are the conduit between the board and the Nature Network for concerns, resource needs and communication flowing both ways.

Join the Regional Council
Volunteer to strengthen our collective voice for nature by advocating for local environmental concerns. Applicants must be involved with a member group in a region with a vacancy.
The Nature Network regions of Lake Ontario North and Northern Ontario will be holding elections in the spring of 2025 for the role of Regional Councilor. If you are involved in a Nature Network member group in one of these regions and would like to help guide the Nature Network, this might be a good fit for you!
