“Protecting Our Natural Heritage – Quinte’s 30-30 Program”
Protecting 25,000 acres of our natural heritage crossed our screens and captured our attention. Then it was another day. But wait, just maybe it was the most significant news of the year. Come and show our appreciation to Quinte Conservation and Ontario Nature for helping protect our most significant wetlands and what it means for our environment and biodiversity.

Our Speakers:
-Corina Brdar – is Ontario Nature’s coordinator in PEC. Corina worked as an ecologist for the province for two decades and recently completed an M.Sc. In ecology and has paddled watersheds all over Ontario. Ontario Nature’s vision, ‘An Ontario where nature inspires and sustains us for generations to come’.

-Tim Trustham – is a forest ecologist who manages 30,000 acres owned by Quinte Conservation. Tim maintains forest certification in partnership with the Ontario Woodlot Association under the Forest Stewardship Council of Canada. Tim enjoys exploring the vast diversity of Southern Ontario’s ecotypes.
