Bugging Out for a BioBlitz at rare

rare is excited to announce that we will be hosting a BioBlitz on Sunday, July 14th, and in our ongoing efforts to study and protect our local biodiversity, we are reaching out to our partners in the environmental community with our call for volunteer taxonomists.
To ensure the success of this BioBlitz, we are currently seeking volunteer taxonomists to lead hikes and help participants accurately identify various species. These individuals will play a crucial role in accurately cataloging the biodiversity we encounter.
We kindly ask for your assistance in spreading the word about this volunteer opportunity within your network. If you know of any experienced taxonomists who might be interested in participating, we would greatly appreciate it if you could fill (and share) the following application: rare‘s 2024 BioBlitz Volunteer Application

To submit your public events for consideration, email Noah Cole at noahc@ontarionature.org. Please send well in advance and allow up to two weeks for posting. Events must be submitted by a member group or run jointly with Ontario Nature.
