COVID-19 has had a pervasive impact on every aspect of the lives of Ontarians, and it hasn’t been easy. With summer just around the corner, and as we slowly return to our regular lives, Ontario Nature would like to celebrate the ways in which nature has played a positive role on our mental and emotional well-being during these difficult times.
Submit a photo of a natural place that has brought you peace and healing during the current pandemic. It could be your backyard, somewhere you’ve visited while social distancing, or a plant or animal that you’ve encountered and helped rejuvenate you. We will share your credited submissions with our nature-loving friends on our Facebook album.
Winners of the Nature Heals Photo Contest will receive an Ontario Nature 2020 membership, and their photo will be featured in the fall issue of our award-winning ON Nature magazine!
The top ten entries with the most Facebook likes will be narrowed down to the final three by ON Nature’s editorial team.
The photo must have been taken in Ontario.
The contest will run from June 15th to June 26th.
Be creative – we welcome all sorts of photos showing how nature heals.
