Help Promote Global Bird Rescue

Global Bird Rescue (GBR) was launched in 2018 as a campaign to raise global awareness on the bird-building collision issue, a leading cause of bird deaths worldwide. Thank you to everyone who promoted GBR last year. This annual event would not have been so successful without dedicated and caring individuals such as yourselves. In 2022, with the support of our partner, Nature Canada, 46 GBR Teams, 3 GBR Sponsors and 14 GBR Promoters, we were able to document 3,382 bird collisions (954 of which were alive) from 10 different countries, educate communities around the world, and inspire homeowners and businesses to make their windows bird-safe!

During this week-long event, you can save birds’ lives, raise awareness of bird-safe solutions, and empower members of your community to take action to protect birds.

The goal for GBR is to help protect birds through rescuing injured window-collision victims, documenting each collision, and raising fundamental global awareness.

To make these goals a reality, dedicated groups and individuals across the globe need to band together. Join us by helping promote the event through your website(s), social media accounts, or other forms of communication such as newsletters.
