Save Wolf Lake film screening and Protected Places mural unveiling at Patagonia
August 8 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Join us at Patagonia’s downtown Toronto location on the evening of Thursday, August 8th at 7 pm for a free film screening of the documentary, Save Wolf Lake.
Wolf Lake is North America’s largest remaining old-growth red pine forest. Save Wolf Lake will take you on a journey along with adventurers, scientists, historians and environmental activists who are seeking to protect it.
We must protect the places we love. Protecting Wolf Lake would make a significant and valuable contribution to the federal government’s goal to protect at least 17 percent of the planet’s land and inland waters by 2020.
After the screening, stick around to hear the producers of the documentary provide commentary and answer questions. We will also be discussing our Protected Places Campaign and unveiling Patagonia’s Protected Places mural created by Planta Muisca.
Our friends at Patagonia will be providing beer and snacks. Please bring your own cup to help cut down on waste.
You can learn more about the fight to protect Wolf Lake in ON Nature magazine.
