VOLUNTEER TO SAVE MATCHEDASH BAY AND REMOVE PHRAGMITES

August 18 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Matchedash Bay is being overtaken by an invasive plant, Phragmites. This invasive grows into dense monocultures impairing wetlands, threatening
biodiversity, reducing habitat, and interfering with the visual enjoyment of shorelines.

It can’t be done without you. You can help!

Join other volunteers, neighbours and friends to cut this plant with training from Georgian Bay Forever.

Date: Wednesday August 18th
Time: 9am – 1pm
Location: Swift Canoe (3048 Mayhew Road, Waubaushene)
