Virtual Tour of Ontario Nature’s Reserves along the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula

Join Ontario Nature’s nature reserves manager, Smera Sukumar, for a virtual tour of Ontario Nature’s properties along the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula.
During this one-hour webinar, we will explore Ontario Nature’s Petrel Point, Malcolm Bluff Shores, Bruce Alvar and Lyal Island nature reserves and discuss the unique characteristics and natural features of these Saugeen Bruce Peninsula properties.
This webinar will be moderated by Justin Peter, Quest Nature Tours’ Director and Ontario Nature member.
More about Smera Sukumar – Nature Reserves Manager at Ontario Nature: Smera has been with Ontario Nature since 2016 and manages Ontario Nature’s 26 nature reserves and 3 conservation easements for biodiversity conservation. She runs research projects, collaborates with volunteer stewards and partner organizations, and conducts public outreach. Smera has conducted surveys on the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula for several years and is excited to share her knowledge of these unique and rare ecosystems. Smera holds a M.Sc. in Biodiversity & Conservation from the University of Leeds, UK and previously completed a B.Sc. Zoology at the University of Guelph. An avid traveler, she has backpacked through Europe and South-East Asia, and visited 43 countries world-wide.
