Intriguing Interactions of Pollinators and Plants on the Stone Road Alvar

Pelee Island’s unique habitats support a wide variety of insect pollinators, especially wild bees. Come for a walk with the team from the University of Toronto Scarborough, learn about the ecology and diversity of bee species visiting different flowers and the important relationships. For additional details on the research team, see www.macivorlab.ca Meet by the Carolinian Canada sign on Stone Road. Long pants, socks and closed-toe shoes or boots recommended.
