The Keep the Greenbelt Promise campaign invites you to come to the Ontario legislature on Tuesday, February 21st. We will go first to the Visitor’s Gallery for the Question Period to signal to Ford that we remain vigilant and committed to protecting the Greenbelt.
After Question Period we will meet at Queen’s Park to organize continued actions to protect the Greenbelt. Meet other people who are working with you to Keep the Greenbelt Promise. We will also hear updates from members of the NDP, Liberal and Green parties on their efforts to stop development in the Greenbelt.
Plan to be at Queen’s Park at 9:30 on Tuesday Feb 21, so you have enough time to get through security.
Please note: Security is quite strict and will not allow entry to anyone wearing badges or stickers, T-shirts with messages, (even coordinated colours like all wearing green shirts) or signs. Also – if you are part of a demonstration outside the legislature before Question Period, they will not allow your entry.
