A federal election is coming on April 28th. With trade, tariffs, and the economy in the headlines daily, it might be difficult to get nature into the conversation — but we’re going to try!
This election poses a unique opportunity to reinforce our commitment to conservation and to demonstrate to candidates, parties, and voters the critical importance of land trusts in achieving Canada’s ecological objectives.
To that end, we are here to help you to advance our collective voice from the grassroots to the national level. Here is how you can participate:
- Pledge to vote for nature and encourage your supporters to do the same. Visit ACLT’s website to pledge today.
- Engage directly with your local candidates and encourage your members to do the same, advocating for a stronger commitment to conservation.
- Attend one of our sessions* to learn and discuss how can the alliances support you in the upcoming elections and how can we collectively ensure that conservation is on the mind of politicians during this upcoming election.
