Children’s Event – Edible Plant Botany 101

Karen Stephenson, owner of ediblewildfood.com, will be coming to Thunder Bay to share her knowledge of Ontario’s edible wild plants. She has a fun, interactive program in which youth learn the parts of plants, leaf type identification, the benefits to our ecosystem and how some wild plants are used as food. Join us for this children’s event as Karen teaches Edible Plant Botany 101 followed by a plant-themed craft with Ontario Nature staff. Event to last approximately 1-2 hours; please dress for the weather!
