Come Help With the Harvest at Springbank Farm

October 9 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Volunteer days continue at Springbank Farm as the harvest ramps up. For the month of October, anyone interested in helping with the harvest can show up at 681 Blair Road Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. or Sunday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide tools, tasks and guidance, getting organic produce out of the ground and over to the Cambridge Food Bank. This is a great way to build confidence and new skills, learning from other gardeners, while engaging in healthy physical activity out of doors.

Volunteers need to provide their own transportation to and from the garden and should wear closed-toe shoes or boots and a sun hat. Sunscreen, insect repellent, a refillable water bottle and snacks are also recommended.
