Botanical Photography Workshop, University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON

October 26 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Workshop Leader: Janet McNally

Photography is a useful way to preserve observations made on a hike, a visit to a conservation area, or on vacation trips. Don Campbell, an FBO member and keen observer of the natural environment prepared this presentation to highlight his knowledge of photography and to share a selection of his images. Sadly, Don passed away last fall before he was able to present his work to interested members. The discussion will include some of the basic principles of photography and criteria to consider to improve, print and enjoy your photographs. There will be an interactive portion of the event: it will be the opportunity for members who sign up to share up to 5 of their favourite recent images with the group to enjoy. Details on how to submit images will be provided to attendees in advance.
