Celebrate Biodiversity

Together, we’re taking action to protect wild species and wild spaces in Ontario.

Join us in celebrating the International Year of Biodiversity.

Your gift makes a critical difference on behalf of Ontario’s spectacular biodiversity. Our achievements are only possible because of your generosity. Your support helps establish a trailblazing vision for 2010. Please consider making a donation today to help provide a strong voice for nature.

Your money is put into action where it’s needed most: preserving Ontario’s marine coast and the world’s third largest wetland in the Far North; conserving our forests, lakes and wetlands in the boreal region; protecting our woodlands, grasslands and wetlands in the south.

At Ontario Nature, we’ve been in the biodiversity business since 1931.

In 2010, with your support, we will:

  • Push for meaningful protection for endangered and threatened species.
  • Insist on the passage of an effective Far North Act to protect biodiversity in Ontario’s northern boreal region.
  • Engage with families and children in biodiversity conservation education.
  • Continue documenting locations and habitats of Ontario’s most vulnerable species to inform conservation action.
  • Expand our nature reserve system to protect 900 more acres (360 hectares) of important landscapes for sensitive species.

You may choose to make your gift to Ontario Nature on a monthly basis, and support biodiversity all year long.

Thank you for honouring the International Year of Biodiversity and for your continued, generous support. Thank you for speaking up for nature.
